Do you think undocumented immigrants take away jobs from Americans?
I was just listening to Bloomberg Radio here in New Jersey this afternoon and an economist like many others here in the U.S.A say that illegals do only jobs that Americans don't want. In my opinion this is very stupid to say that, or maybe I'm wrong and all Americans are professionals, doctors, lawyers, nurses, etc. Guys, undocumented immigrants are working in construction, plumbing, electricity, and many other jobs done by Americans. There are thousands of Americans and legal residents in the U.S.A that would like to have one of these jobs performed by a undocumented immigrant. They are working in my backyard here in N.J, most likely they are undocumented, they are all hispanics. Just to finish, I'm hispanic (cuban), I got nothing against these people who have come here to better themselves, many of you who criticized these people would have done the same thing they have don,t, come here illegal. Its funny how the law works here, you got about 15 million people unemployed, there is a possibility that we might have a jobless recovery and you still letting people come illegal. When we travel from Cuba to Spain, we were not allow to work in Spain, that made a lot of sense, how the hell you going to let foreigners work in your country when you don,t have jobs for your own, this was in 1980. According to the experts, its going to take a long time before we see unemployment down to 4%, for your information...unemployment here is 16.6 % and higher, in Vegasis probably way over 20%. bye now. meant to say,,,what they have done. carnage...where is that hate coming from? think about what you saying...the usa with like 13 trillion dollars in deficit, do you think they have money to send these people home?....i imagine you were joking right? ...you most be....

Yes, and they also drain public resources such as public aid, emergency room assistance, free education, etc. They commit crimes and overcrowd jails. They should do hard labor, pay fines, and then be deported.

If there is a job that Americans wont do there is a good reason for it.If you want me to pick grapefruit all day for 50 cents a bag ,then no.But what Americans would do if they had to pay a fair wage to a American is they would invent a machine to do it.That machine would need people to build it,run it,repair it.Process and distribute what came out the other side and those are jobs that Americans would do.

Simple bring 12 MILLION people into this county - did we create 12 million new jobs to support them? NO then who filled those jobs? Take a look at this forum and you will find kids searching for jobs for the summer - for the year...most of the jobs the kids did to start their employment are taken by part of these 12 million.

Repeated studies show Americans laid off and replaced with cheaper illegals paid under the table. Repeated reports and studies show American workers are better workers than illegal aliens! Illegal aliens cost American citizens over one Trillion dollars per year, and their costs have exceeded a Trillion a year since about 2002. Their costs keep escalating. Illegal aliens do take jobs from citizens of the countries they invade. This is true in the US, throughout Europe, Australia, and everywhere else immigration-law violators go. They destroy economies by increasing expenditures of tax dollars, not paying their legally due taxes, funneling money out of the economy (remittances), taking jobs from citizen-taxpayers. Illegal immigration always impoverishes the people of the countries they invade. No exceptions. No excuses. Wipe the blasted lipstick of the bloody pig and show it for what it really is! Pigs!
